(The Indian restaurant staff was very friendly as well, but it was Valentine's Day and we had not made a reservation, so we went to the pub.) We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there! Then we returned to the lodge for a good night's sleep. We were warm and comfortable. "

Pool was really warm - didn’t mind the charge of £5 per person per day - we were informed of this beforehand so no surprises there. Did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food "

"A real gem! We booked it last minute after a disaster with our first hotel. We walked in and immediately felt welcomed. It has a lovely feel, smells gorgeous and the spa is stunning.
