"I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet.
All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

"My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat.
Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again"

"Wonderful stay, has everything we needed. 5 minutes from Whiteface for great ski access. Super quick response from the owner. Would like to stay again. Cozy, comfortable, open. Super clean and seems like a very well taken care of home!"
