"The staff are lovely and helpful. I did not think the room we had could be classed as superior because the bed has an old fashioned type of mattress which is not comfortable. For a superior room I was expecting a bigger more comfortable bed. We could not open the window at night because it is very low down and wild life could easily get through at night. The buffet breakfast is quite basic, there were no croissants or pastries of any kind. The location is absolutely beautiful . The staff are...

"Stayed with you Friday and Saturday. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. The room was spotless. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only negatives were the shower was blocked and the buffet breakfast choices were not as good on the Sunday."

"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."

"The accommodation was easy to find & parking no problem. Hospitable host. It was perfect for us - we just stayed 1 night. Clean. Good kitchenette. Plenty of windows that open easily, so nice & light & airy. Bed comfortable. Shower not very powerful, but sufficient. Heaters in lounge & bedroom if needed. Breakfast & fruit juice brought to your door & very tasty. Would recommend & return. "

"We were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly, exceptionally clean room, esp the bed linen. Breakfast was ceral, yogurt, croisants , muffins plus cooked english. The waitress was super friendly with great banter. Being able to park was a plus, great pub opposire, 20 minute walk to the corn exchange. The walk was very enjoyable and we crossed the river to get into the city. My husband lost the front door/ room keycard however the sister hotel The Arundel fixed , even though it was almost midnight ....

"Great location near transport links. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Food was fine, but not special. Solid good value wine list. No real ale. Overall good value and would use again when in the area."
