"I loved staying at this historic, old world hotel for a week.The rooms are elegant, clean and spacious. I was in town doing wedding planning with my daughter and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & accommodating. I felt so special. My husband could not be there, so I was traveling alone, yet always felt safe and comfortable. Their drivers were top-notch gentlemen who took me anywhere I needed and promptly picked me up. Their 2 restaurants were wonderful & spiced pecans are out of this...

"Let me start by saying that the place is impressive. I was looking forward to my stay after booking. The biggest issue: the room was hot. I struggled to fall asleep on the amazingly comfortable bed due to the room being so hot. I did lower the thermostat, but the room just never cooled off. There was also cobwebs in the bathroom....I want to go back and maybe request a different room.....I wanted to give a 3 star across the board, but the property was so impressive I just couldn't go that...

"We arrived at 9pm the evening of June 7th. There are no signs in the Parking lot and you can’t see the lobby entrance from the parking lot. Then you can’t get into the lobby without someone buzzing you in. There was no one at the front desk to let us in. Finally the guy comes bak to the front desk and let us in. We give him our name, he puts our room cards on the counter spits out our room number and effectively looked at us like move along. you have to park in a below ground level. The curved...

"Check in was welcoming and seamless. Although the facilities experiencing an upgrade, our room was on a newly renovated floor away from the noise. We had a peaceful night and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We will return because they offer value, excellent location and ease with parking."

"There were multiple stains and a really weird smell (not a good one). There was chipped paint in the bathroom as well. The smell is what concerned me the most idk what that was but it was like bad perfume. Bed was comfortable and amenities worked."
