"From the start walking into reception staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure both myself and wife had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was immaculate, tea & coffee on tap, bottled water, fresh milk in the mini fridge. "Visited on business but brought my partner & our dog along so we could extend the stay a little. The hotel could not do enough for us, including nightly breakfast bags to take with us early in the morning so we did not go hungry & a box of doggo goodies including 2 x bowls, meat flavoured beer, salmon treats & a new tennis ball. The car park is only small but the village car park around the corner allows free parking from 4pm to 9am so it's no great issue. We ate in the restaurant 2 nights & the...

"The check in is only between 5-8:30pm. I arrived at 9pm and luckily I called beforehand and the reception lady waited for me. The staff is very friendly. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is big and can allow 3 groups cook at the same time. The surrounding is serene. The river in the front provides natural white noise day and night, good for sleeping. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Poole Farm and highly recommend it! We are very grateful to Louise and Greg for accommodating my wife and l along with our grandson. Breakfast along with the great choices was just amazing and set us up for the day ahead. Great room and quiet secluded setting. "

"I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??"

"Landlady went beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Incredible food and sent us off in the morning with complimentary food water for our trek. Extremely friendly/welcoming atmosphere! Couldn’t recommend more!"

"Lovely B&B. We were extremely pleased with our stay here. We were in a cozy double room with an en-suite. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The couple running the hotel were friendly and exceptionally hospitable. The included full English breakfast is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. The value for money is fantastic. It is a perfect location to explore Cornwall!"

"Lovely spacious property, inside and out. Garden would be lovely at warmer time of year. Well equipped with tv, wifi washing machine, dishwasher etc etc. Property well suited to families or those with dogs. In a quiet location, but ideal for the village, coastal walks, park etc"
