"The place was incredibly cozy. The owners are amazing - give you a map that shows all the local places when you check in. They even lent me a bamboo mat for the beach! The place is also spotless - they take great care of it. Air conditioning and TV both worked very well. A 5 minute slow walk from the beach, and there is a supermarket literally 5 meters from the front door. "The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the service was great. It really exceeded our expectations! Though it is not located in the old town, you can easily get around with Grab! We will definitely stay here when we’re in Penang next! "

"This is a great place for a family to stay for a family holiday (we stayed for 3 weeks). Modern, clean and safe. Each room has own on-suite bathroom. They clean twice a week, which is great! There is a convenience shop at the bottom of the hotel, a lovely pool, a beach with beach sports (company called Seafarers - great guys and I would recommend them any day). Overall, the comfort of the hotel apartments helped make this one of our best family holidays ever. I would go back if I ever come back...

"Whatever expectations I had were met and exceeded beyond my imagination. I really enjoyed my stay at the Park Royal resort in Penang. The staff is very warm and welcoming and so very helpful, especially Osman and Ali. The property is gorgeous and is very well kept. I definitely will come back to the Park Royal resort anytime I’m in Penang. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Very enjoyable stay. Obviously very busy with the start of school holidays in Malaysia and lots of visitors but still managed to find little areas of peace & sunbeds by the pool! Staff all excellent and friendly - common areas clean and enjoyable to relax in. Facilities good - the main restaurant and "Pizzeria" very clean, good food & lovely staff.
