"We had the best time at the Rose and Crown the staff were warm and friendly and the setting was just perfect.Bus stopped opposite to get to Bath so convenient.The food in the pub was excellent we had three couples with us and they all said how fantastic th food was.The rooms were absolutely pristine not a speck of dust bathroom was immaculate high praise for the cleaner.Breakfast was great plenty of choice.Definitely would go back here beautiful."

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!"

We were in a garden room which was nice enough inside, however, the glass wall/window were so exposing that you had to have the curtain pulled across the entire time. "Lovely clean room with a fantastic shower. Very quiet. All the staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. We loved the inclusive buffet breakfast, there were plenty of places available to sit and eat at our leisure so it didn’t feel like a scrum. The complementary luggage storage on day of check-out was a godsend, as was the rack of rental brollies (first day in Bath was very rainy). Great first experience with Hampton By Hilton. Would 100% use again!"

"Arriving you have to climb 8or so steeps and there was zero help with the luggage. Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. "This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay."

"Room was small but clean enough. The big problem with us was the stairs and no lift. We were at the top of the hotel and quite a few flights of stairs . We are in our 70s and had two suitcases about 45lbs each. Ended up leaving them in the car and just taking what we needed from them for the night. We are from Canada and I understand a lot of hotels in Britain are like that."
