"I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! "

"Great place, fun little cozy spot. Not as secluded as it may appear in pictures. Farmhouse is about 100 feet away, and there are numerous other rentals nearby, so we had people walking around the house while we were there. Nice house, really enjoyed our stay, but not very private or secluded at all. If that’s ok with you, inside the place itself is nice."

"My family and I loved our stay. This cabin had everything we needed and more. One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. We would absolutely love to stay here again one day! "

"Had a great stay, cozy log cabin, beds were very comfortable. So nice to have a few garbage bags, paper towels, soaps and toiletries!! Also some coffee filters:) Hot tub was great too! "

"This unique hideaway was great for our family. The open layout might not work for everyone, but suited us just fine! We were only here a couple nights but enjoyed the location and using the hot tub! "

"The house was lovely - it was in a great location with great views just next to Bromley Mountain. It was very clean, very cozy, and had everything we needed. It was just two of us for this trip but the house is great for larger parties as well! The layout of the house is perfect and allows for everyone to be together in the upstairs living room which has a large fire place. It’s also close to Stratton which was a quick 17 minute drive. I would absolute stay there again!"

"Exceptionally clean with everything we needed. Large open areas for gathering, a gorgeous fireplace and the outside kitchen and seating area were convenient and comfortable. I reached out to the owner about the pool heater and he got back to me very quickly and even FaceTimed so I could get the heater started with his assistance. "Our stay at the Timber Riverhouse was amazing! Vacations for us are all about the outdoors and this home did not disappoint. The house was beautiful with lots of wonderful features like the solid beams, spiral staircase, comfy beds, fantastic deck, and even a hot tub! "The place was fine but the ac unit was not working . The high tempatures and humidity it was 85 inside the majority of time . I rented this place to work and relax and I spent my time waiting for hvac appointments etc and being hot, not able to sleep becuase of the heat. If the air conditioning was working it would’ve been really nice ."
