"For North American travellers, this hotel does not have A/C. If it is hot out you are stuck in a room with a junk portable desk fan and windows that slightly tilt open, not ideal. The pool is a good size, if you bring children under 16 they require you to be in the pool with them. No, you can't just sit in a lounger and watch them. "Lovely old hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful which is what would make me return.
Food was very good but I felt quite pricey for certain items.
Room was quite small for two sharing but we had everything we needed. Slippers and robes were a nice touch as were the biscuits.
Coffee at breakfast was lovely.
Shower tray was lethal, very slippy and I would recommend some sort of grippers be put down.
A fridge to keep water bottles cold would have been appreciated especially as it...

"We loved our time at Carberry Tower! The estate was stunning and the staff were very helpful. We walked in the gardens and the woods behind the estate - breathtaking! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. I only wish we had arrived soon enough for the high tea which looked perfect. This will be a favourite memory from our European vacation! "We stayed for just one night so we’re not able to enjoy the full experience. The weather was unusually warm so we upgraded to a room with AC. The AC didn’t really cool the room so we ultimately had to open the slider to cool the room. Our experience would likely have been more enjoyable if we had stayed longer and didn’t have to utilize AC."
