"The property was well run by all the staff in the restaurant and the bar . Friendly and professional manner. Staff were helpful and have a good knowledge of the local area. Room was spacious and yet cosy, and was cleaned daily. Property is in great location on the main road in Street. Plenty of free car parking at the rear . Loved the outside seating area . Will definitely be returning. "

"Room was perfect, spacious and warm. It’s an old building so it had little steps to watch out for. So much variety for breakfast - cooked to order hot food, pastries, yoghurts etc. Some evenings it was a bit noisy outside but not for long and it is an Inn / pub. Parked 4pm-10am for free outside the cathedral. Highly recommend staying here. "

"We had a great welcome and were shown to our fabulous room. Spacious and well decorated, it had a great spread of tea and coffee with real milk in the fridge! Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far!
