"The property is as advertised; it is small but has what you need for a visit to NYC. It is a 20-minute walk to Times Square, 5 minutes to the Empire State Building, and 10 minutes to Flatiron. "First night I had a leak in my room. I left around 7pm returned around 11pm and it appeared that the leak happened the whole time I was gone. I went to notify the front desk but no one was there. Maybe 30mins later the receptionist whom worked the night of 8/24 came in late. After telling her my issue she then told me to wait in the seating area then tried downgrade me from a king room to a double bed while insisting that it was an upgrade. "IFirst there was no front desk to check you in. Then it was explained that it was self check in but I would not give me check in information unless i paid an additional $30+. It was a scam from the host to collect more money"

"This place is perfect for the intrepid, seasoned traveler who is flexible and has a tolerance for change or very small curveballs. This is to say, it was bare bones, safe, clean, roomy, and very manageable. It was as advertised. Common kitchen and bathrooms. BRING A TOWEL!! I was in town, traveling solo, to see some concerts, so it was just what I was looking for. It is in the heart of Little India and the food choices were over-the-top wonderful with many vendors open until 3am."

"Balcony had floor tile missing, could be very dangerous. Room needs some updating. we initially had trouble getting in with the code but we called customer service and they were able to help. Overall okay experience but not worth the rate we paid for those reasons listed above."
