"Beautiful view from every room and convenient location… everything in the Charleston area is within 20 minutes drive. Shuttle provided if you prefer. Restaurant is the draw on the 15th floor and parking is full in the evening as a result. Price is the best in the area for what you receive. Unfortunately, it is a dated hotel and not always well covered up. Pool and fitness area show their age and the rooms lack detail. This was probably amazing 30 years ago, now it’s ok. "The staff was great , friendly helpful. My only concern is I haven’t yet received my deposit back that was held in case of damages , my dog a dachshund is a medical need dog for sever anxiety , she was always with me never left alone in room she caused no damage "

"The room was good-pretty basic. But it was clean, quiet and good a/c. Check-in was ok, had to wait about 5 mins for staff to show up, no apologies for the wait and not friendly!"

"We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. "We loved our dinner next door and the room was beautiful, albeit no view or balcony. The only real negative feedback we have was that, despite the noise machine they provide for you, we did not sleep at all. The traffic noise was horrible all night and there was screaming, loud motorcycles, and loud traffic noise coming at all hours of the night. Perhaps Friday night on and around King Street is too rowdy but we never had this problem at other hotels on the same road. We could hear EVERYTHING...
