"Amazing hotel in all regards. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area, nice walks nearby, great hotel rooms and restaurants. Clean, very nicely furnished. Superb service from staff. Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit."

"Although I’ve marked everything as excellent, I have to point out that the signature plus townhouse double room is accessed by a steep set of stairs into what was the basement. However it is a very nice room and the bathroom, again accessed by more stairs down (5), is also lovely. If this was pointed out on the Expedia website, I missed it. "I’ve stayed here quite a few times when working in the area. Rooms are decent, clean. Would like a bigger tv but not the end of the world. Staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. Most evenings I work too late to have evening food but I did eat one evening and had the most amazing Butter Chicken. Always the first place I look to book when I’m working in this area. "

"My wife and I stayed for just one night. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff and proprietor were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the evening and breakfasted the following morning. The food was good and service efficient, friendly and courteous. Our room was warm and clean and the bed very comfortable. What more do you need from a hotel? We will definitely stay should we go back to the area."
