"Fantastic stay. Wonderful rooms, very comfortable bed. Balcony was a treat. There was a small issue of cleanliness where there was water leftover in the coffee pot and towels left on the bathroom floor when I arrived. Other than that, I very much enjoyed my stay."

"We stayed downtown at the Element for General Conference and had a fabulous experience! First of all, when you walk in the hotel, it smells AMAZING - they really should sell that fragrance! "We stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco while attending a conference across the street at the Hyatt Regency and wanted to try something different. We were very pleased with the hotel. Our first room was comfortable, clean, and nicely sized, but it did not have enough storage space to unpack our clothes. We spoke with Sophie at the front desk, and she was wonderful. "Bed was above average as hotel beds go. They popped a $20 a night parking fee on me at the desk, which was pretty lame. The desk people were pretty average, even slightly annoying and unhelpful. The "Fitness Center" was about 90 percent cardio with very little else. They could have easily taken out half the cardio equipment and replaced it with anaerobic machines. On Expedia it said it would be $139/night but it ended up being $200/night. Next time I stay in SLC I'll probably be staying...
