"Great for an overnight stay. All the staff were polite & friendly. The food we had, both dinner & breakfast was tasty and the dining area was pleasant. Our room was clean & comfortable. The only issue was with our shower. There was very little water pressure and felt like you were hugging the wall to get under a trickle of water to get clean. It was just enough to wash under, but I was pleased I didn’t need to wash my hair and try to rinse out the suds. It would have taken an age."

"The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. They took this on board and catered for all of us. Dinner was a delight. We stayed here last year when...

"Excellent Pet-friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were perfectly clean and acceptable, the little fridge for fresh milk was a bonus as those plastic cartons are awful. The food was absolutely wonderful on the evening meal, lovely and fresh and pleasantly presented. Breakfast, there was so much choice other than Full English which was a pleasant surprise. All in all everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed...

"This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. "Entrance comes a little fast but otherwise it's easy to find on the main road. Very clean and very comfortable and a wonderful breakfast!!"

"Stunning hotel, gardens, maze and amenities all excellent. Lovely attentive staff and breakfast and had dinner the 2 nights we stayed, cannot fault it and would love to return some day. "

"Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall."
