I booked a stay at a quiet resort and carefully planned it, as it was over a week. Was looking for a peaceful retreat as per their description. "I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. "The apartment is located more or less on the beach in close proximity to a 24 hr. bar. On Sundays there are beach parties that are loud. The room was never cleaned by staff. I left my garbage outside and it was not collected for days. Outside of those things, its a nice intimate space in the heart of Bridgetown."

"The room was not as advertised. The room had a mildew stench, it was very hot, the outside AC unit was leaking, and the bathroom was very hot and had no ventilation and it was the only thing updated in the room. There were dings and dents on the floor and on the furniture. There was also a running water noise coming from a closet near the room door. They also arranged an airport pick up who offered us an island tour. We asked how much upfront and she told us don't worry she would give us a deal....

If you ask, you can get a beachfront room with direct walk up access to one of the pools, or a direct walk up to a garden.
