A bit run down, nobody really there to serve guests.
My bill was $1000 more than what we actually spent in 2 day stay, it took an hour for them to correct the $1900 extra they charged for a “helicopter ride” that never happened or was ordered.
They never gave me my final bill at all and made me pay to leave on the boat. Pretty awful service but a pretty island.

Clean rooms the house was absolutely perfect for our wedding group. We had some of the most amazing views and it was in a perfect location near the airport. An issues we had were dealt with immediately.

First things first - we had a lovely time here. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, it was a really chill vibe. The onsite restaurants were excellent, and it was easy to settle into a comfortable groove - especially if you embrace "Fiji time"..
The beach was convenient with warm waters and good sand, and the shore snorkeling at the nearby reef was world class. I highly recommend a) snorkeling at or near high tide, pretty much in front of the neighboring Intercontinental hotel and b) signing up for the (free) guided snorkel that they run - having a knowledgeable guide helps you see things that you would otherwise miss.
The WiFi was largely good, but I don't think you can rely on it to stream a movie over VPN for example, but it's great for web browsing and email etc.
One thing to note: what makes it special is it's seclusion, it's a decent drive from the airport and there isn't a lot to do on foot from there, other than eating at the (expensive) intercontinental next door. So, plan accordingly. The major upside is the relaxation and serenity that comes with the location.
We took a day cruise from Port Denauru with South Sea cruises, they included round trip shuttle from the hotel in the package, I'm sure other companies offer similar options.
All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend the property.

Lovely resort...wonderful 5 night stay.
Staff are absolutely delightful and are definitely a highlight of our stay.
We had to move bures after our first night as there was water leaking in the bathroom. Rooms are really comfortable..no need for air-conditioning at this time of the year...breeze through the screened louvres and fan was perfect for sleeping. Really loved having the outdoor shower.

"Lovely place to stay! Very family oriented, with opportunity to experience the culture of Fiji on property. A little far from the any activities or things to do outside of the resort, so be prepared to stay on property or pay hefty taxi fare (by no fault of the resort) Great pool, yummy meals, and ..."
