"Large pool with shade if required. The grounds are wonderfully tropical and well curated. Bures are private, roomy and the air conditioning works a treat. The large, fluffy bath towels are changed daily. All of the staff are terrific and the restaurant is well worth trying."

"Bill and Paula and the whole community were amazingly kind. This was a rustic and genuine experience to be immersed into a warm Fijian community. We should have realized some of the limitations that we would face, (no a/c, limited power supply, steep steps to the main house for meals, etc) traveling with my elderly mother before we booked this, but everyone was kind, thoughtful and welcoming. "Ocean View is a must-stay homestay for anyone looking to experience true Fiji time.
As a solo traveler, the room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Vil and Paola took amazing care of me and always made sure I was comfortable. While the food was a bit pricey, the portions were massive as long as you are an adventurous eater — depite this I never finished a full plate!

"The house felt neglected. Outdated electronics. No gauzed door to stop mosquito or bugs. Network is so bad. The wifi didn’t work for one night. The washing machine had so much dirt built up in filter that I had to clean before washing my clothes. The freezer wasn’t freezing - disappointed for paying so much and the place didn’t meet expectations.
