"While only 15 minutes from the Newport mansions, this hotel provided a wonderful respite if you're planning on driving around town. The hotel was clean, the staff very accommodating - even checking in mid-stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Our king-sized bed room was roomy and quiet! We couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or other guests. The breakfast is also amazing! So many options! We look forward to another trip to Newport and the Hampton Inn & Suites!"

It felt dirty. There were stains on linens, furniture, couch cushions, wall paper, even in the bathtub. The pull-out sofa was not made nor were the linens in the room. "When we vacationed in Newport, Rhode Island (July 2026) we stayed at the Town and Tide Inn for three days. The Inn, with only 12 rooms, was quiet and personal. The innkeepers were delightful and wonderful at making us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are spaciously clean and beautifully appointed with a cottage beach vibe.
