"We had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Varenna is a great little town. If you stay for a week definitely plan some day trips to surrounding areas via ferry or boat taxi. The rooms were clean and staff were very accommodating and kind. Willing to help with anything we needed (airport transfer, dinner reservations, spa, boat routes). We had a junior suite with a great view of the lake. There are some beautiful swans that live on the lake and came by the beach at the front of the hotel...

"Espectacular!!! Definitivamente el mejor lugar para quedarse en el Lago di Como. Acceso directo a la playa, cerca de la estación de tren, ferry y autobús. Habitación súper moderna, espaciosa, limpia y con todas las comodidades. Joseph (the proprietor) bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful-- he met us late at night to check in, made us special breakfasts for our kids, arranged a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant, and so much more. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great, and the location in Lierna was absolutely perfect-- a sweet little street near the main plaza and harbor. We would return in a heartbeat!"

"This is a lovely little boutique hotel between Varenna and Bellano. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and help you navigate the Lake Como transportation options. Walkable to Bellano to catch the ferry. Very comfortable bed and beautiful lake view from the balcony. The bathroom is all glass, which is strange, but with two people it is no issue. Just step on to the balcony to give each other privacy. A really beautiful spot to start our trip, thank you! "

"Lovely hotel and grounds. We had a room on the 3rd floor with two balconies affording us stellar views of the mountains and lake. The rearward facing balcony was quiet and peaceful. We through the doors open and had a lovely breeze all evening. The pool is lovely and there were plants of lounge chairs for reading and relaxing + two showers. We don’t eat at the hotel but great coffee is just down the street and there are a few restaurants in either direction. Beds we comfy, albeit...
