"A five star hotel/B&B. Good location and amazingly quiet at night. Garden rooms were massive with separate lounge areas. Very well equipped and very clean and modern. The addition of a private patio with furniture is a special bonus. The staff were lovely. The restaurant was amazing with good choice and lovely presented food .. the full cooked breakfast can only be described as spectacular. Well recommended and hope to come back."

"It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay."

"The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. "This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help. The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. "Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. "Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...
