"This property is amazing! Everything you need for a get-a-way in the woods has been careful thought of and provided. Kitchen has EVERYTHING and more. The covered hot tub, covered fire pit and the sounds of the river and wildlife was our favorite. We look forward to booking another trip here as soon as possible. "We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property."

"We had a wonderful stay! The owners have taken great care in providing a wonderful place to share with others. It looks like almost all the previous complaints have been fixed or handled. The driveway was long, but not that steep and without any recent rain we had no issues getting non 4x4 's vehicles down there. My only suggestion would be maybe invest in a water softening system for the whole house.The mineral smell while showering was noticable. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful...
