"Waypoint Ventura is a treat, to say the least. All the vintage trailers are beautifully appointed and restored. Plus, the whole vibe in the place is just fantastic. Easy walkability to great restaurants and breweries. Looking forward to my next stay and trying a different travel trailer next time."

"My room was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for me to decompress over the holiday weekend. Every staff member I spoke to was kind and helpful - like when my key cards would not work and needed to be replaced! I took advantage of the continental breakfast, especially the waffle maker :) The hotel was easy to get to from the train station, and centrally located between downtown and the beach."

"This place is very nice. Clean, great staff, wonderful breakfast. My only disappointment was the highway is located between the hotel and the beach. Our ocean view room overlooked a highway. Other than that the place is great and I would stay there again if in the area. "

"The staff was very good. A guest checked in hiding a dog which I heard in my room so I had to change rooms. Direct TV programs run in a loop, no change of episodes. Only traditional over the air programs changed, e.g. the news."

"Having stayed in a pretty bad similar cost hotel just down the street the week before, this one was a breath of fresh air. Clearly recently remodeled and great for the price. The shower was a little dark and there were a couple of cracked tiles in the bathroom but the fridge was cold, the bed was fine, the desk was nice, the carpet looked new. It’s not the Grand Hyatt but it was perfectly located for what I was doing and totally fine."

"The property in 2 blocks from the beach, which is nice, but the photos on Expedia show beachfront. That was a disappointment. There were no Washcloths or body soap. The whirlpool tub had no plug for the drain or controls for the jets. In other words it didn't work. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was responsive, but we won’t be staying there again."

Also, I requested an advance for our rooms to be close to one another and they weren’t. What’s interesting, is the couple that checked in before me ended up in the room next to me, so I don’t understand why my other room for family couldn’t be next to me instead of a total stranger that literally checked in just a minute before I did.
