"We originally chose to stay in an apartment that was located several minutes away from the actual hotel that we checked into. We had 4 large pieces of luggage and 4 backpack type items to carry through the streets of Venice which was not ideal. So we elected to change and stay at the hotel. The hotel staff were accommodating with the change and put us up in two separate hotel rooms.
