"This home was perfect for our family and friends to stay for a San Diego State University graduation. It was so close to the college and everything we needed around it. There were plenty of beds for the rooms to sleep everyone comfortably. The home is very well maintained and a great place to celebrate."

"The rental was perfect. It's in a quiet, clean and safe neighborhood, located closer to the beach than I had expected. Owners were very nice and helpful. I will be back in the future. "

"We stayed at Ocean Sands for a week to celebrate a wedding in the family. We had 16 adults and the house was perfect! It is definitely worn and tired in spaces but it truly did not matter. Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, beach access was so simple, communication with the property manager was excellent, house sleeps everyone well, great layout for large group, pool and hot tub were a big hit along with the fireplaces. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This Bird Rock location is perfect - great shopping and food in La Jolla and just a few blocks to Pacific Beach! Close freeway access makes everything in the San Diego area easily accessible. The cozy studio felt spacious, thanks to its vaulted ceilings and skylights. Parking on the street was close and easy. Highly recommend! "

"What a fabulous home for our family of 10 to stay!! We had a couple of minor issues but April was great in getting back to us quickly. the pictures on the site are great but doesn't show how really good the pool area is. We had 5 kids age 9 to 18 and they totally enjoyed the backyard from going down the slide all day long to seeing the Sea World fireworks every night from the top of the slide area. This will definitely be our go to home if and when we return to the San Diego Area. "

"Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Ali's home. It is perfectly located for any and all adventures in the San Diego area. The pool was fantastic after a day of waves or seeing the sights. The breeze on the deck made for perfect dining and fireworks viewing. We did not feel crowded and enjoyed having many ares in which to spread out.The kitchen was fully stocked. In fact I don't think I have ever encountered so many pans outside of Williams-Sonoma!Ali was a wonderful host and totally...

"The house is situated on a very safe cul-de-sac next to military housing. The rooms and closets were very spacious and the house came equipped with everything we needed for a toddler and infant, plus two dogs. Grocery stores are five minutes away and the beach is about ten minutes away. There were a few broken things upon arrival: one of the closet doors in front of the dryer and a towel rod in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will consider renting again. "

"This was a mother - daughter beach trip. The place was absolutely perfect. I loved the gated community and the proximity to the beach, pier, harbor and shops. The place was spacious and comfortable.
