Private 2 bedroom apt in new craftsman ranch!

  • This 2 bedroom apartment has two queen beds, a full kitchen and laundry. With mbeautiful views all around, it is very close to the San Diego Safari Park, wine tasting (walking distance to 4 wineries) and several wedding venues. You’ll love the privacy and spaciousness, the fresh fruit and farm animals, and the tranquility of the place, while being only 4.5 miles off the freeway. This space is excellent for couples, business travelers, small groups, solo adventurers, and families.

    The space:
    The apartment is on the other side of the garages as the main house so you have plenty of privacy. There are two separate bedrooms, each with a very comfortable queen bed. A full-size bathroom is not attached to either bedroom so is easily accessed by both bedrooms without inconveniencing anyone. You have a full kitchen with a sit up bar as well as a separate dining area. The living area has two sofas, one of which pulls out into a double bed. The washer/dryer allow longer-term guests to do their laundry. Also, there is a very spacious outdoor patio for relaxing in the sunshine or star-gazing and enjoying the serenity at night. The high-end craftsmanship is noticeable and the house is newly built.

    Guest access:
    You have the entire apartment to yourself. We live in the main house full-time so we are on hand for anything you might need during your stay but stay out of your way if that is your preference.

    Other things to note:
    There is also a new and adorable tiny house on the property listed separately on VRBO. If you have a larger group, or family/friends who would like to stay nearby (about 100 steps away), this is a great option to expand your group size but still have your privacy and separate space!

Beautiful location, especially the view from the back of the property. The sound of the coyotes at night was amazing! The only issue would be if you don't like driving up and down the side of a mountain.

It was a perfect layout for my mother who uses a walker…. One level, spacious rooms, no clutter; Easy access to enjoy front porch chairs. Parking was so convenient…less than 20 feet from front door. Beautiful place

We really enjoyed our stay! The amenities were great, the view and scenery were beautiful, and the property was very family-friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The property was BEAUTIFUL!! AWESOME location. We were able to sleep with the window open at night for the fresh, cool air. It was only maybe 10 minutes out and so quiet. We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

This was the most perfect property! Beautiful space and view. We walked to a winery near by one of the days. Sat on the back porch area with some drinks. Parking was great. The hosts have an incredible property & take very good care of this apartment. We will for sure be saving this listing for another trip in the future! HIGHLY recommend

The place was perfect and beautiful with everything we needed. It had a rustic charm and seemed like you were in the middle of no where but were conviently only 10-15 mins from town. We traveled with our 1 year old and they supplied us with a high chair, pack and play and a lot of fun toys! They had a few goats, cows and chickens that our son loved to see as well. We wished we didn't have to leave! Booking was simple and smooth and check in/out just the same. Would highly recommend staying and would return if ever in the area again!

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet and lovely place. We enjoyed our and able to get good sleep on their comfortable beds. It was so close to Rancho Guejito Vineyard/Wedding Venue, which was so convenient for us to close to my daughter’s wedding. Highly recommend this place.

The place was nice and cozy! Great place to have a chill weekend with friends and family. Pretty isolated place with a great view in the backyard.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a last minute reservation and it worked out perfectly. We attended a wedding at Rancho Guejito and it was only a 10 minute drive from the venue. Would love to come back again with my grandkids and visit the Wild Safari animal park.

This is a beautiful casita attached to the owners home with garages to separate the two homes. The place was impeccably clean and had plenty of items to make the stay easy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you can think of and more. There was even seasonings in the cupboard to use if desired. If you have kids, there were toys available, kid safe dishes/utensils, and a pack-n-play. They thought of everything. We enjoyed our stay very much and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We were in town for my daughter’s tournament, so we were busy with that, but we drove past multiple vineyards that had wine tasting. We took time to go see the sunset. It was an easy 30 minute drive to a state park. Overall, it is a great place, highly recommend.

I only texted the host one time, during my stay. I can tell by the text that they are very caring and friendly. They responded quickly. I really wasn’t there long enough to meet the host. I left in the morning and returned that night. The inside was very clean. Great place to stay. I recommend this place to stay. The view is awesome!!!

Restful holiday location

All amenities listed except the hottub. Comfortabe couch and full kitchen. Enjoyed feeding the goats and picking fresh citrus right off the trees.

Amazing experience!

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! This place was absolutely perfect! It was a beautiful little place. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were so kind and friendly. We got to enjoy the fresh fruit and vegtables from their trees and garden and even explore the animals. Our family had a blast! There was a lot more privacy then we expected and was only 10 minutes from the safari park, which was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to your family for your amazing hospitality!

Quiet and comfortable

We were in town for a wedding. Following the instructions, we had no issues finding the rental. It was quiet and comfortable. We had a small issue with the WiFi but after checking the in-house manual the correct password was inside. Two small things that would have made it better. 1. Powdered coffee creamer. Sugar and sugar alternatives were provided but no creamer. 2. There were no hooks on the back of any of the doors or on the walls in the bathroom to hang towels to dry. Both items were minor and did not impact our stay dramatically. We would book again if we needed to be in the area for anything. Take note that there is nothing really located in close proximity to the rental. Make sure you hit up a grocery store or anything else before you get there. If you don't you will have about a 15-minute drive to get to a grocery store
