Family Ready Blocks From Tamarack Beach with AC and EV Charging

Recently remodeled single story modern ranch with hickory floors and natural light. Three blocks to Tamarack Beach, take the boardwalk or lighted rail trail for a short walk/bike to the numerous offerings of Carlsbad Village. Large open kitchen with four seat breakfast bar and ample counter space. Massive farm table seats 10 for holiday dinners or family breakfast. Master bedroom has a king bed, attached bathroom and large closet with built-in storage to hide suitcases and feel at home. Two additional bedrooms provide king and queen beds with a shared hallway bath. Main living space has a streaming 4k TV and wireless sound-bar. Separate den features a fireplace, comfortable sectional and 55" streaming television. Fenced back-yard has covered patio, grill and heated outdoor surf shower to take care of the beach sand. Shed holds beach wagon, beach toys, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella. Outdoor games include Bocce, ladderball and cornhole sets. Easy freeway access, 1 hour to Disney, minutes to LEGOLAND. Circular driveway with parking for 4. High speed internet and WiFi. Large capacity washer and dryer.

Accommodates 6 adults in beds. Large sectional in den is size of two twin beds, can accommodate 2 children.

Winter Holidays, Easter/Spring break, and Summer season may require longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The backyard was just perfect for sitting out with family. We had great communication with the host and it was a very easy check in process. We’d definitely love to stay again.

The property was as beautiful as pictured and just a short walk to the beach. The owner had lots of beach gear you could use if needed. Great place to consider if you have little ones, fenced backyard with grass for them to run around, they even had a toddler chair and pack ‘n play. Family friendly for sure, would highly recommend!

Patrick is a great host and has gone above and beyond for us in the past. We’ve stayed at his house a number of times. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Water pressure in the showers could be better but we managed. We really appreciate the location and the on site parking here!

This house was awesome. It was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room, with an awesome backyard. It was only a short walk to the beach, and the provided beach chairs were very appreciated. Very close to the main Carlsbad area. Level 2 EV charger was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem rental! Has everything you need for a family trip to Carlsbad, and specifically, the beach. Lots of space to spread out, relaxing backyard, yard games, puzzles and card games for the whole family, great location and very clean. I saw a few reviews mention train noise, but honestly it didn’t seem very loud and didn’t wake up either of the kids or adults.It’s easy to see how cherished the property is. The furniture is very nice as well. We hope to book this again. The only thing I will note for future families— the bedroom curtains are not blackout curtains, so it was hard to get the baby to nap and the 6 year to sleep late the first morning. Easy fix for us—we bought black garbage bags and painters tape and blacked out the windows ourselves. Something we usually remember to pack, but of course this time it slipped our minds. 10/10 would rent again!

Stay over the 4th of July

The property was just as advertised. Great house in a nice neighborhood with close access to the beach and downtown Carlsbad as well as good restaurants all within walking distance. Easy access to/from Interstate 5. Bedrooms were good size and owner had all the extras one might need on vacation. Truly has everything you need to have a good vacation with family or friends.

Spacious and comfortable house

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. There was a huge dining room table , a upgraded kitchen and comfy bedrooms. The backyard was perfect, shaded, lots of seating and plenty of beach supplies. It's a short straight walk to the beach and a lovely trail walk to the village for dining out.

Fantastic Rental

We’ve stayed at this gem of a rental many times and are always excited to return. House is stocked with all your needs for cooking and beach. We love the spacious backyard and being only a few blocks from the beach. Patrick is an amazing host with quick responses to all our questions. Can’t wait to return to and enjoy this fantastic home again!!

Love staying here

This was our third stay in this rental and the location is perfect for our family. The floor plan works great for us, as the baby can sleep in the pack n play in the family room. We had a little snafu with the entry lock keypad at first but Patrick was super responsive & quick to come help us out. Thank you, Patrick!

We had a wonderfully stay in Carlsbad at this beautiful home! I was worried about the train and traffic noise but it didn’t bother us at all. We loved walking to the beach and into Carlsbad Village every day. Perfect location, beautiful and clean home, great host.

Perfect Carlsbad stay

This is our 4th time renting this home and as always it was a fantastic stay. The open floor plan and the beautiful outdoor space make it perfect for our family. We truly enjoy lounging in the backyard and taking leisurely strolls down to Carlsbad village. The easy walk to the beach is also a big plus! It’s wonderful to have access to beach essentials, like sand toys, towels, chairs, and the wagon. It makes our beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home is always clean and communicate with the host is excellent. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great place for a Family!

Great location, lots of room. The avocado tree in front needs to be trimmed for vehicle parking. A heads up on the train would help those with younger children. Overall we had a great time.
