"House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus."

"More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay."

"This little place was perfect for my husband and myself for a couple days when we needed to be in the area. We worked during the day but loved coming back to the house in the evenings and sitting on the porch listening to the birds, watching the shadow rise over the mountain as the sun went down and watching the fireflies come out. "This house was amazing! It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. The location was secluded on the river. You really never have to leave the house with all of the amenities provided. Fireplace, game room, hot tub, hammock. And the adoreable town of West Jefferson is only around 18 minutes away. We went to Grayson Hoghlands 30 minutes away for a hike and saw the wild ponies. Wonderful stay"

"The house with the fenced yard was excellent for our needs with 2 dogs and 5 people. Only issue was there wasn't much info provided about things like where to put the trash, setting up the tv, or any checkout instructions. But the property was really nice."

"My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning! We cannot have had a more pleasant day, and would return here in a heartbeat when able. Such a gem. Thanks to the hosts for making it available."
