"This is my second time staying at Berkshire Mountain Lodge. Each time the room, actually a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, has been very clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. It is well located for getting to various places and is very close to both a large grocery store and a smaller gourmet market. I have not used the pool or hot tub, but I've seen others enjoying them."

"The breakfast area was still dirty from the day before, and I had to ask the manager to have it cleaned. Unfortunately, the next morning was the same situation. We ended up going out for breakfast down the street, which cost us an extra $60. The laundry area was also neglected, with about a quarter inch of dust on the washer and dryer. For the price of this hotel, I would recommend staying somewhere else."

"I had a smooth check in. A little later I went back to the front desk to get an extra key, was asked my room number and last name. The associate, knew that I had asked for extra pillows when I made the reservation. I don't think he was even on my reservation on the computer yet to see the note. Asked if I had the extra pillows in the room and were they ok! Often hotels don't even notice this request, never mind remember it or ask about it. Great attention to details!"
