"This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others."

Within an hour of checking in, we were moved through three rooms: one had a broken TV, another had candy wrappers in the couch and Cheerios on the floor, and the third still had food on the floor and sticky stains. "The hotel is family friendly everything was excellent and clean, with lovely green areas. The only downside was that the pool had so much chlorine that it could irritate the skin."

"I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The main reason I booked this hotel was to use the pool, but it was closed during my stay, which was never communicated beforehand. I also completed online check-in and selected my room nearly 24 hours in advance. When I arrived, I was assigned a completely different room. I understand situations happen, but the front desk agent was very nonchalant and simply said the previous guest extended their stay....

"Everything was was clean and tidy as you would expect, the staff were always very helpful and accommodating, our room was pretty good for layout and overall decor, the bed was comfortable, use of on site washing machines and tumble dryers was good at $1.50 for a cycle with $10 rolls of quarters available at the reception, I couldn't complain at anything really, especially not for the price we paid."
