"It was a modern comfortable property. The pool was clean bright and inviting. The living accommodation had all those amenities that one would expect for a relaxing holiday. There is no washing machine and it would have been nice to have but it looks like this is common in Crete. The coffee machine in our room was not working and the shower was the only room that needed more attention. But none of these would make us not wanting to revisit and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to...

"Fabulous modern spaces in a 17th century Venetian building. Lovely patio doubles as an al fresco breakfast space, plus a comfortable seating area in front of the hotel for cocktails or coffee while people watching. Perfect location right in the old town pedestrian area with tons of restaurants and shops, plus a walk to the beach and the Fortezza. Staff from front desk, to barista, to breakfast, to housekeeping all stellar."

"This hotel showed exceptional hospitality. We loved the room and the town. Breakfast was very good and seating was in the outdoor garden area. One thing to note is that getting luggage to the hotel can be a bit challenging because of its location. However, when we checked out, the staff kindly offered to help carry our luggage back to the main street where our car was parked. Their thoughtful service made a great stay even more enjoyable."

"Wir hatten das Gewölbezimmer und es hat bei jedem Reinkommen ziemlich muffig gerochen. Der Kühlschrank war schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, hatte deutliche Roststellen überall und war so laut, dass wir ihn nachts ausschalten mussten. Zudem hatten wir ein Mietauto was man aber nirgends in der Nähe abstellen konnte. Es gibt keine Kooperation mit dem Eigentümer des kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz, der nur 5 min.entfernt ist. Tagespreis dort 30 Euro. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze in 10- 15 min...

"We absolutely adored our stay! Antonia, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room itself was stunning and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood we stayed in is excellent; it’s just a short walk to restaurants/shops and Fortezza. I definitely recommend it!"

"The Old Distillery Suites was absolutely wonderful in terms of accommodation and a very helpful and friendly host. The apartment is modern and roomy with nice light and a gorgeous balcony. We enjoyed that balcony for morning coffee and evening wine. We made use of the washing machine which came with instructions. The location is close to the beach area and we spent time walking around the harbor and enjoying all the lovely restaurants. There is a cafe right outside the entrance and shops...
