"Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

"Lovely little cabin with everything you need "

"My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

"I was looking for a quiet space with a view and that’s exactly what I got! Beautiful views from the huge back porch and some seals visited near the shore! At low tide you can find lots of shells and see some starfish. I would stay here again. It is also dog-friendly and my pups had a great time running up and down the shore."

"We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. "Very nice stay at a great home n the lake"

"Absolutely fabulous property and the only negative is that 2 nights was not long enough! The neighborhood was very calm, peaceful and quiet which was just what we needed for the weekend getaway. The HUGE screen TV in movie room, jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor areas for seating, grilling out etc were amazing. "This is a wonderful cabin. The A frame structure is rustic and charming. There’s a comfy deck. Debra has shelves of board games and lots of info on local things to do. There is a washer and dryer! The upstairs loft with the king bed is where we slept because my husband is 6’6”. I loved it, although I bumped my head 3 times on the ceiling beams! "It was a beautiful spot with nice outdoor seating and a fun loft arrangement. A little disappointed at not realizing two full sets of steps down to the beach and high tide does not allow you to walk around the island. The water in the hot tub definitely needed to be changed and was unusable, however, when host was informed he took every action to correct. Deer was plentiful but no whales or seals were seen. "

"My boyfriend and I absolutely love Lake Cushman and we stayed the weekend for celebrate his birthday. This cabin has it ALL!!! The host was absolutely fantastic and was easily accessible for any questions. Hot tub on the patio facing the lake was absolutely amazing!!! Sauna on the back deck was a nice treat. Absolutely everything about the cabin was absolutely wonderful!!! We are already looking at the calendar to plan our return trip!!!"

"We loved staying here. The cabin layout is so nice and the large windows were very inspiring. The view of the trees was very nice. The patio was a great spot to spend the cool mornings stretching and drinking coffee. The walking proximity to the lake was very convenient and the swimming area at the lake was incredible. If you want a nice place to stay in proximity to Olympic National Park, this is a great choice."
