"This is a great little villa, renovated from a traditional Kyoto townhouse. The 8 of us were quite comfortable. The host was thorough, attentive, and demonstrated impeccable attention to detail. Convenient location for the train. We would most certainly stay here again. "

"Our room was spacious and clean. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Friendly staff. However, if I had to make a suggestion would be to completely get rid of the smoking room in the lobby. It’s right next to the laundry room and elevator. It’s unavoidable to smell it in the hallway as space is limited.
Free laundry room was nice - one tip would be to wash clothes in the machine then transfer it to the dryer. The drying function in those combo washers never worked well."

"Very clean and lots of room. Provided slippers and toiletry items. Only issue we encountered which is not really hotel's fault is that someone removed our wet laundry from the dryer twice in one night to put their own laundry in. Some people are just rude."

"近隣の駐車場状況は快適性にかなり左右されそう。真横に24時間1800円だったと思うがあるが、土日とかだと空きがなさそう。
店内は外国人のスタッフだけしかいなかったが、十分理解できる程度のカタコトで喋ってくれるし、そこまで気にはならなかった。
清潔感に関しては部屋は綺麗だけど、外国人観光客をターゲットなのか、靴で室内を歩き回れる仕様なので、日本的なホテルとは少し違うので慣れない人は嫌かも
街中に近くてあの価格はかなり
リーズナブルなので、また利用してもいいとは思える内容だった"

"This was my second stay at this location. It is just steps from the covered shopping areas and Nishiki Market. The hotel itself is very quiet and serene and boasts an interior courtyard with a tree growing in a shallow pool. Coffee and sake are complimentary in the lobby and the rooms feature traditional style furnishings, including a Hiba wood soaking tub. The showers are fantastic and having a laundry machine, fridge and microwave in each room is a welcome bonus. I really enjoy this hotel."
