The only cardio machines were an elliptical and a bike that were both pretty old and not of real good quality. "It's a place to crash after a long day, not to spend time in. Your bed won't be.made. Fresh towels are by request. No phones in the rooms, so if you need anything, you must go to the desk. The previous client had medium length straight black hair and was travelling with a lady who had longer straight black hair. I'll let you figure out how I know that. Goid value, but you get what you pay for. I won't skimp on the hotel again..."

"I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels and I have to say that this hotel was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. Housekeeping came every other day to refresh the room and each time they did an excellent job. The hotel is very close to the airport, so if you are a light sleeper it might night be the best place to stay. The noise from the airport didn’t bother me. The only issue I had was an employee in training ran my credit card as a gift card and it messed up my bank account...

"This was my second stay here. Location is convenient for me for visiting family, but I also enjoyed walking along the harbor and Shelter Island paths which are nearby. The room was clean and spacious (I chose a deluxe king this time) and the neighborhood feels safe--great for a solo traveler. Onsite parking is reasonable and convenient. I will definitely book here again for my next visit!"

"The view was great. Our room was infested with nats. Staff advised and found the problem was with the storing of garbage out back. They said the were working on the problem. We still has the nats until the day we checked out. Don't take the ground floor rooms. You can hear every step. We had young children staying above us and the staff tried to have them not to jump on the floors and rolling their luggage back and forth across the floor. But we still were awaken a 5 am with the running and...

"This property reminded me of an aging debutante who owns the family castle and reputation but cannot keep up with modern times…think Downton Abbey on a marina. From the reading room loft that you see when you walk into reception but the walls aren’t lined with old tomes; instead it’s just wall paper. The spa has limited, overpriced services- all co-ed. I heard someone say the bicycles you can rent aren’t well maintained and the restaurant, while it had good food, isn’t open on Sunday or Monday...

It’s directly across the street from San Diego‘s most prolific sport Fishing fleets, which makes it an excellent choice for out of town anglers! Additionally, they do offer paid parking so you can leave your vehicle there instead of the paid parking at Fishermans Landing for guests."
