"My first time to Marshall and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was quick and very pleasant. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I didn’t have time to eat the next morning but it looked lovely, Checkout was a breeze! I’m putting the contact information on my phone book. I’ll definitely return there. My grandson is a student at the University of Olivet, so I’ll definitely be back!"

"Didn’t even check in. Pulled into the parking lot and noticed that the windows were busted out of at least 3 of the rooms. Felt very unsafe. Boyfriend went in and checked the lobby and was going to have host show us a room but the lobby was absolutely nasty. We ended up going in and talking to the host and he told me he had already cancelled my booking because the card I used to hold the room didn’t go through. Remind you I use this card only to hold rooms and then use my actual card to pay for...

"We didn’t even stay the night. Went somewhere else. Asked for a refund but non refundable online. He offered us another room but didn’t want it cus of the condition of the first room. Just said we will chalk that $75 up. Room smelt bad. The mattress cover had old blood stains from bed bugs that’s the main reason we didn’t stay. The guy was friendly but a no go for us. "

"Drove 2 hours to Hotel and was informed by staff there that Expedia's computers were not communicating properly with theirs. They could not honor reservation confirmation, and charged me for the stay, I had to go to a different hotel. Now Expedia states it will take 10 days to get the charge reversed. Residence Inn staff simply just sent me on my way. Not even helpful to call around yet they gave a confirmation and everything. "

"Room was clean but couple of broken things-the barn style bathroom door, the tub spout. The buffet breakfast was better than most other places though. A pleasant stay and close to grocery, a few restaurants and shopping."

"The pool was broken, the door by our room was broken. The food was ok. I was never offered a "welcome gift" even if it was only water. I had to fix the screen at the window myself so that bugs didn't come in. Something else was broken because they had dug a trench out back. Our 2 burner stove had one burner that worked somewhat. The other was completely dead."
