"I traveled to Statesville for work to go to a weeklong class. I wanted to do something different instead of a hotel. This apartment was HUGE, very spacious, clean, smelled amazing, and very well decorated. Very well designed from a magazine. It's above a bookstore in an old building so there is exposed brick, ducts, and ceiling beams. The flooring is real wood through out. It is right in downtown so restaurants, shops, coffee, and beer in walking distance. The host was wonderful! She had her...

"House was really nice. Location was away from all the traffic. Nice and quiet. Pool was nice. We went in everyday. House was clean and plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool table was nice. Propane fire pits on both floors and grill upstairs. Paddle boards and kayak were on the dock. We paddled out to the islands. We enjoyed our stay"

"We 100% recommend this property. It was the perfect location for our small Family Reunion with 20 adults and 5 children. The amenities for the kids were perfect, and the adults truly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This property is in a great location, with several things to do in the Troutman/Lake Norman area. Or, if you prefer, there is plenty to keep you busy and never leave the property."

"We didn't get check in info and multiple messages were sent, we finally had to call VRBO themselves who then found the owner and was able to give us the info, in the time waiting we were sitting at the North Carolina visitors center for almost 2 hours. There is old furniture and a broken dishwasher sitting outside by the door and they are filled with cobwebs. The back wooden deck has broken boards which I tripped over multiple times. The microwave only functions on the popcorn or potato...
