"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Marine Hotel. Our room was spacious with three huge bay windows overlooking the sea, an enormous comfortable bed and an excellent shower. It was very clean, although a fresh coat of paint and some attention to the skirting boards would make it even better. "Do not book a room in this hotel! They will double book your room and send you to another hotel 30 min away. The room was paid for and when my mother arrived to try and rest before an international flight the next morning, she was notified that her room was unavailable and that she would be sent to another hotel. She waited 2 hours and had to pay for the transport arranged by the hotel. Unacceptable treatment of guests, was our experience. Never booking here again."

"The proximity to the beach was amazing! Check in was easy. The room was okay-poor. The bathroom was clean and great! Sheets and bed were great! Carpet had stains close to the patio doors. Also, lots of mold on the drapes and carpet and wall around the patio doors. Our room faced west and was ground floor. It was quite hot in the room so we had to open the patios doors but there was no screen or window to keep open through the night. Also, the hotel information books has conflicting...

"We were given an option of a room with a view or a quieter room. Unfortunately the room with the view was a view of the intersection. There was no air conditioning and the room was stifling hot but if we opened it windows to let the air in it sounded like we were laying in the middle of the intersection. I wish we had known how loud it was when closing our room."

"Die Zimmer sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hellhörig. Der Spa Bereich kostet 10€ extra und der Jacuzzi war leider kaputt, als wir da waren. Beim Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl an kalten und warmen Speisen, aber auch hier kosten Capucchino & co extra. Für eine Nacht in der Nähe des Flughafens ok."
