"The location is great, right next to the Nags Head Pier, and close walking distance to local dining spots. Being right on the beach was a great plus. The rooms are clean and they have plenty of room. However, the beds weren’t the best, and I had an achy back most of the trip because of it. The A/C was working great, but was very loud. "I’ve stay here twice. It is a perfect couples romantic getaway. Our only issue was our tv remote volume didn’t work properly. It was never fixed during our stay. Since there is no one on site at all times there is a possibility if something comes up they may not correct it in a timely manner."

"Booked a room facing the main parking lot but still had a great partial view of the ocean from our balcony! It was relaxing to sit outside on the chairs and look at the ocean, especially to view the sunset. The room was clean, and spacious, with comfortable beds and quiet. "Saltaire Cottages was a great place to stay for a few days. It was cleaned and had what we needed for those few days. When you drive up it seems to be a little outdated. The inside of our cottage had been redone and it was fine. The location is great, right across the street with their own beach access. The beaches were not so crowded on any day that you felt like you were right on top of each other."

"The room was clean and quiet. There was coffee in the lobby and the restaurant,The Seaside Bistro,served a delicious breakfast and had outside seating available. The beach was a short walk and an indoor pool was inviting. The shower didn’t have shampoo and conditioner dispensers and and the bathroom only had two round small bars of soap to use.The entrance to the hotel didn’t have automatic doors and also had an incline to bring your luggage and belongings in. "

"I love how close it is to the beach and how every room has an ocean side. Sometimes you can hear street noise from the main drag in our room, however to be fair there was a car show in the park two blocks away. Really love staying here. "

"We stayed in a dune front room and it was just a short walk over the dunes, to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet. We plan to come back here again someday. A lot of bang for your buck!"

"Walking distance to Pier & beach if u don't have leg & back issues. Right across the street from beach 🏖️. Everyone is very kind. None of the appliances working on kitchen counter but we found a way. LoL The snacks, drinks, & wine everyday were wonderful compliments to our trip. PS. Please clean the seagulls poop off Deck!! "

"We really enjoyed our 2 nights here! The main complaint is the parking lot. One night we came in and there was 1 spot left. It was very hard to get into the spot and was impossible to get out. Please work on your parking and maybe make the space at the pool compact car only and then encourage those cars to not park elsewhere...."
