"Lobby looks clean and what youd expect from a cheaper extended stay. Once you enter into the hallway to the rooms, its dirty, stained and smells musty and with an unpleasant smell you can't quite place. The room looked fine upon first glance. The more you looked, the more you saw. Dirt and other things on walls. Missing paint and spots on the wall. Very dated and obvious wear and tear. The room is listed as non-smoking however it smelled like a smoker had LIVED in the room smoking a lot for an...

"The apartment was conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions in Forest Park, and several bus lines for those who are inclined to explore the city via public transit. The apartment provided a good amount of space for two people. We really appreciated the free passes that were offered. We did, however, experience a number of issues during our stay. One warning to potential renters: if you need a quiet bedroom for sleeping, this may not be the property for you. Both the wood...

"Actually I end up not staying a night of the scheduled 3 nights. I tried to get s refund but it seems the modus operande is to exhaust your patience and time so as to make you give up your claim. First, the host failed to provide any instruction as to check in, how to get the keys, and most important is that after 10PM, nobody’s there to attend to you! "I liked that the air conditioner worked. Otherwise, the place was a dump in need of repair. The outside doors to get in the hallway were broken. So, anyone could get in. There was a full kitchen with absolutely nothing to go with it. Not even a small coffee maker. Towels in the bathroom were hand towels or floor towels, not bath size. Oh, and the remote was broken held together with a hair tie around 1 AA battery and one AAA. After purchasing batteries and installing them it still didn’t work....

"I'll be honest, this place doesn't leave the best first impression but it really grew on me after the first night and did become a cozy retreat after doing touristy things in STL. Has everything you need at a cheaper price than a hotel room, it's easy to get to the building, private parking spot, the buliding itself has a keypad entry so feels secure, nice neighborhood, and even has a small area out back for dogs. With that said, I probably wouldn't stay here with more than 2 adults unless...
