"Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful staff!"

"Its first time I visited this hotel, its was good experience and friendly staff"

"Hope the carpet with no stain."

"Absolutely beautiful castle! Everything so well maintained, staff knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Staff was very helpful in everything. My only thing was I didn’t have slippers in my room. Other than that our stay was absolutely fantastic."

"Good staff"

"The staff at the Abbey are excellent, by far the best part about the stay. Very friendly with each encounter and extremely accommodating. We had several bags with us, and they made our check-in and check-out much easier by going out of their way to support. The room itself is satisfactory; it is about what you pay for. Nothing too extraordinary, but more than sufficient for what we needed it for. Although the bathroom wasn’t terribly well maintained, and the shower didn’t drain very well....

Check in was a bit odd with rooms and building unlocked and no food served on Tuesdays. Side saves were also dusty and staff unsure if breakfast was included which delayed my departure."

Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

"Quiet location. WiFi was very slow unless you pay another six pounds for premium"

"The room was great and the staff was very helpful!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location. I also had breakfast at...

"Everything is pretty good except that the location is so hard to find because there is no big entrance. The water faucet has to switches for hot and cold water which is not very convenient. Otherwise, this place is great."
