"A perfect room for visiting Bath. The room was very large well decorated and very comfortable. The host Richard was a Joy very attentive to any of our needs and full of interesting stories. Breakfast in the dining room was something special complete with a spectacular dumb waiter. We will certainly be back!"

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Loved the character and position only a very short walk into Bath. Unfortunately during our stay was a heatwave so the four flight's of stairs were sometimes a bit much. Saw lots of places in Bath and on our last day, out of our window, hot air balloons went past to.us. Magical"

"The location was good. The picture showed is not what the building looks like and the rooms are not as described. The room was so small we could barely move around. It was too hot with only a small fan. No amenities at all. Not even a plate. Staff were pleasant enough but made no effort to make enhance our stay."

However upon arrival the price was 50 GBP per night, which is just useless. Other hotels are able to honor the price confirmed at the time of the booking for existing bookings also when the car park is managed through an external company. It took us a while to find the location, as our mobile app and the street names didn't always work together. We should have just called for directions. "The room was comfortable, large, and clean. It has air conditioning which was essential for us as there was a heat wave. Large bathroom. Outlets at bedside. Nice amenities. "This was a beautiful, unique 220-year-old flat that provided a comfortable and clean stay for my family of six. We loved the location and accommodations our only disappointment is that we didn't see a ghost 😉. We would 100% stay here again. It was lovely."
