"Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running)."

"Modern chalet-style property near Aviemore. Owner provided an incorrect code for the lockbox. No answer when we called. Never got back to us. By pure luck we tried a few different combinations & we got in. No help at all from owner. Fold-up bed was broken so slept on mattress on flor."

"Very relaxing stay! It was nice having two bathrooms, too. Note that they are both upstairs in the cottage. Not a problem for us, though. Place was cozy and comfortable. The pub next door closes early so patrons and any noise coming from there ceases early. Bed was comfy, too. "
