"A great place to stay. Plenty of private parking at the hotel. This place is 100m from the centre of town. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Warm clean and good sized room. The town is beautiful with plenty of bars and restaurants and beautiful buildings bridges and a castle "

"Paid for a suite , room itself was lovely and large , beautiful bathroom. When we arrived at the room in the afternoon all the bedroom curtains were closed , including the ones to the outdoor balcony. Once we opened them we realised why …… a massive building project , scaffolding etc literally metres away from our room , so much for the garden view . Room was looking a bit tired cosmetically but still lovely , house keeping must only clean from eye level down as when I got into bed the ceiling...

"I have stayed at the Minster Hotel before the rooms are beautiful breakfast plentiful and variety of fresh yogurt grapefuit apple cereals plus a hearty english breakfast cooked to order and staff very accommodating and friendly. The stairs are my only issue and i suggest u try and get a room on a lower level but other than that a fantastic hotel close to all that York has to offer. "

"We stayed on top floor in the Attick room was awful bed was small room was small for delux terrible the room is all positioned wrong but they did move us to diff room so that was good"

"The was very clean and comfortable, we were in the back of the hotel which was actually nice because of how quiet it was. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was classic British full breakfast with the baked tomato…Excellent location not far from from the Micklengate and close to old town York. The bar and other sitting areas were very comfortable and welcoming."
