"I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. Before booking, I specifically chose this hotel because the room was advertised as having a partial ocean view. While there is technically a small glimpse of the ocean, you have to turn your head to a very specific angle to see it. The actual view from the room is overwhelmingly a parking lot. The photos and description on Expedia gave a very different impression, and I felt they were misleading. Parking...

"The property was really nice, the pool bar was more of a pizza place that served drinks. but right by the pool. There is a nice walkway to the beach. Not many restaurants in the area and they are very crowded in the evening. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we did not get to try that. Really nice place to stay!"

"I have stayed at Tru hotels before and enjoyed staying at them, but this was not a good look at this one. I was only here a couple of nights. Here are my issues, 1-The toilet was loose and rocked when you get up and down. the bolts that hold it to the flange were loose, 2- breakfast stopped at 9am, usually they are 10am- and it wasn't the best as far as looks and taste. 3- The ice machine on the 4th floor looks like it has not been used in a while, so we had to go to the 1st floor for Ice. 4-...

"Rooms were clean, they were stuffy smelling but weren’t bad to where the air quality was compromised. The front office smelled wonderful so you would think the rooms smelled just as nice. Outside trash bins were full the whole weekend. The cleaning staff barely gave you time to get to the door before opening the room for towels. Overall not a bad experience. Parking was crowded by big pickup trucks. It was 4th of July weekend."

"Very clean, loved the private back yard and the hot tub. Very close to the beach and comfortable for my family of 4 and our two dogs! Will stay next time and will recommend to friends and family!"
