I was told the first time to call back closer to the date. I called the day before to make sure that I can check in before the original chicken time which was 4 PM and was told yes. "The property was really nice, the pool bar was more of a pizza place that served drinks. but right by the pool. There is a nice walkway to the beach. Not many restaurants in the area and they are very crowded in the evening. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we did not get to try that. Really nice place to stay!"

"I have stayed at Tru hotels before and enjoyed staying at them, but this was not a good look at this one. I was only here a couple of nights. Here are my issues, 1-The toilet was loose and rocked when you get up and down. the bolts that hold it to the flange were loose, 2- breakfast stopped at 9am, usually they are 10am- and it wasn't the best as far as looks and taste. 3- The ice machine on the 4th floor looks like it has not been used in a while, so we had to go to the 1st floor for Ice. 4-...

"Rooms were clean, they were stuffy smelling but weren’t bad to where the air quality was compromised. The front office smelled wonderful so you would think the rooms smelled just as nice. Outside trash bins were full the whole weekend. The cleaning staff barely gave you time to get to the door before opening the room for towels. Overall not a bad experience. Parking was crowded by big pickup trucks. It was 4th of July weekend."
