"This property was a short walk from family as we came for a funeral. Also near several miles of walking near the university and river area. "Older property. A little noisy. You can hear everything coming from the hallway, conversations, door slamming, kids running around. Great location, staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner offered as part of your room cost is an added bonus!"

"We loved our stay at the beautiful Kimpton Monaco. Comfort and quality. The staff provided excellent service despite a full hotel with four wedding parties staying there. Love the art deco theme throughout. Room was large and well appointed, bed super comfortable. Sunday morning breakfast service was terribly slow as was valet car retrieval. Otherwise all good. Would return. "

" Came to stay here due to location near Shadyside hopsital, where I had surgery the next day. What a beautiful property. Friendly staff, especially our bartender. She was young, but easy to talk to and had knowledge beyond her years. We didnt eat here, so can not attest to that. Beds were confortable.
