Viatges a West Orange

Fiquei apenas uma noite no Civilian Hotel e achei a experiência excelente. O hotel é super charmoso e tem uma atmosfera incrível. O grande ponto forte é a localização imbatível: fica perfeito para quem quer assistir aos shows da Broadway e explorar a maravilhosa variedade de restaurantes no Hell’s Kitchen. Dá para fazer tudo a pé com muita facilidade. Sobre o quarto: fiquei em uma acomodação com cama Queen. Confesso que achei que a cama (e o espaço em si) seria um pouco maior, mas nada que tenha atrapalhado a estadia. O quarto é pequeno, porém muito funcional e bem completinho no geral. O único detalhe é que não há frigobar/refrigerador, o que pode fazer falta para estadias longas, mas para quem vai ficar poucos dias funciona perfeitamente. Café da manhã é simples, mas com ovo cozido, croissant, pão de fermentação natural, frutas. O Rooftop tem uma vista linda, vale reservar. No geral, gostei bastante da experiência e super recomendo para passagens rápidas por Nova York!

Me encanto el hotel, disfrute mi estancia, muy limpio,la cama comoda y agua caliente, aire acondicionado, el desayuno muy bien, agua fria disponible para tomar y snacks galletas y papitas.

In general, its an acceptable to poor option, location is exceptional, staff is not at its best, as soon as we arrived, we didn't feel a warm welcome by the members at front-desk. After getting our rooms, staff knocked our door insisting we had a luggage that was not from ours which was not true and absurd since they were the ones who brought our luggage into our room, but staff member was insiting for an inexisting gray bag, we heard the same situation in rooms next to us. Rooms look modern but completely out of maintainance, you can see items getting old and require replacement, bed is not the best, they only provide two cheap pillows, water bottles were not refilled after cleaning. I would recommend other hotel if your priority is to rest well.

The location was great, and the room was good size for New York, and the wi-fi worked great. Just a few small things were annoying but wouldn't affect my decision to stay here again. Some outlet covers were cracked, the shower-head kept sliding down and couldn’t be adjusted to stay up luckily it was a handheld shower-head.

I stayed there overnight and happened to be there during the fireworks season. I won't even mention the noise levels in the room—it felt like the fireworks were exploding right over my head. There was absolutely no soundproofing, largely because the air conditioner was installed directly into the window, effectively leaving a gap where part of the window should have been. It was hard to sleep. That said, the air conditioner itself was excellent; it cooled the room down very effectively, which was exactly what I needed. I also noticed that cleanliness wasn't given proper attention. While the sink, toilet, floor, and bed were clean, the rest wasn't—there were dried soap residues on the shower walls. The light fixtures above the bed looked as though they had been wiped down with a dusty rag that had just been used on a dirty table; they really stood out the moment I turned on the lights.
