"This is a cute renovated motel that is close to the Hot Springs tourist area and bath houses. It is not a luxury hotel but is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay close to everything. All communications is handled via text to get your check-in time, room and door code. "The historic aspects of the hotel are all present. I also really loved the location - right in the middle of everything. I had a standard room with two beds. The bathroom was a bit grungy. We had a bathtub but no plug to actually use it. The carpet in the room was pretty nasty - I would definitely not walk around barefoot. "Check in was horrible. There was an issue between Expedia and the hotel, the hotel clerk was very condescending about it. I quickly contacted Expedia and they called the hotel within minutes to resolve the issue. However, even though I was standing in the lobby at the counter, the clerk put Expedia on hold and helped other guests making me and Expedia wait 25 minutes before solving the issue which I believe was an error on the hotels end to begin with.
