"This was such a lovely place to stay. We had a room in the annex. We could hear other people come and go and talking in another room, but quiet other than that. The pub was very nice."

"The Union Inn is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. All the accommodation has been recently updated and our bedroom was well equipped with complimentary toiletries etc, plus tea, coffee and bottled water. We didn't dine there but the food looked really nice and was great value. As to the inclusive breakfast, it was excellent and substantial. "I stayed for a night on 4 July 26 with my sister and we had a lovely time, the hotel was cosy and the staff welcoming. We had a double en-suite room each and the rooms were cosy and well decorated and furnished. The bathrooms were modern and the showers were great. The beds were so comfy, we slept so well. Breakfast was great and they made me vegetarian sausages. The staff were wonderful. We will be returning . It was great value for money too."

"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."

"We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again."
