"The library theme is enchanting and executed to perfection. The room and the service were top- notch. The location was excellent. The roof top bar made great martinis. I could not fault this hotel at all and that puts it above many, many others I’ve stayed at. This was my first experience of The Library and I’m a fan."

"The hotel is very well located, the room was fine and the bed very comfortable. Plugs for current technology phones would be nice. One of the two side tables was broken. Took several requests to get utensils delivered to the room, all they eventually supplied were plastic ones in a cellophane wrapper. Breakfast in the lobby restaurant was excellent."

"Very friendly staff from check-in to check-out. The hotel is beautifully appointed and cozy with a sophisticated vibe. The breakfast food options are very good with the exception of the coffee which tasted terrible. I liked the tasteful decorations in the rooms and the bathrooms were very nice with plush towels. It is fairly quiet considering where the hotel is (conveniently) located for Broadway shows and near Times Sq. However, because of the way the bathroom 'windows' are designed you can...

"I was really looking forward to staying at Kixby, especially given its excellent reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was a little disappointing.
First, although the bathroom was clean, the grout was visibly worn and had become quite dark in places. This made the bathroom look less clean than it actually was and detracted from the overall impression of the room.
Another disappointment was the lack of an espresso machine in the 24/7 beverage room. They do offer several types of coffee,...

"The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but we were a party of four and felt perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, definitely worth it.
The location is another huge plus. It's within walking distance of Times Square, the Empire State Building, and Rockefeller Center. If you don't mind walking a little farther, you can even make it to Hudson Yards.
The staff was incredibly friendly,...
